92 GM rear sway bar mount

Is it a common problem with these cars for the rear sway bar mount to break?
I had thought it was the end link when I bought the car but turns out its the mount that the end link attaches too.
Is there any tricks to repairing this in a way that will last and not just break again?

Is it possible to adapt a box body rear bar to the aero?
If im not mistaken they mount to the lower control arms instead of using end links to the frame. That would bypass the frame mount issue.

yea on the aeros the swaybar brace rots and breaks off
you can use a box rear bar but you need to drill a second set of holes in the lower arms

Does the set of holes that are there already line up with the front or rear holes in the bar?
Would the box rear be as good handling wise as the stock aero bar or at least better than no bar?

Good luck finding a box panther rear swaybar. Only one available is the addco 324. I'd repair the mount and do some energy suspension links and bushings.
