You could have the gnarliest T56 swap, with all the fixings, all new, for less than that.

And then you'd have 6 speeds.

It'd be nice... if you could buy the adapter and controller for a fair price, and supply the transmission yourself.

Whooyeah.

You could also get a $4000 AOD with a $1000 torque converter. Or does anyone even build AODs more expensive than ~$3000?
