    '01 TC Performance

    im lookin to do some upgrades to make my 01 townie a little quicker, a little louder, and a little better on gas, with a very small budget. any suggestions?
    2010 Toyota Camry "Traveller II "
    54,xxx miles. New daily driver
    2001 Lincoln Town Car Signature "Leroy"
    rear cats deleted, 2" h pipe, dual 8" cherry bomb glasspacks
    114k miles. Sold to my coworker.

    through flow mufflers and dual exhaust if it doesn't already have it... and a "stage one" type air intake. That will eek out a bit better economy when you're not lead-footing it. You'd need a higher stall torque converter or rear gears (or both) to get out of the hole faster... but the intake and exhaust will help on the cruise to upper end for sure.

      yea dual exhaust and free flowing mufflers would be a good start

      iirc you can also get a tuner that plugs into the obd2 port for the 01 also.......not cheap tho

      dan if you want to build a car on the cheap get a 86-90 town car and drop a used mk7 Ho in it or a 96-01 explorer 302........4.6 stuff gets expensive quick mang

      1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

      1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
      1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
      2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
      1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

        thanks scott! ive been lookin into the dual exhaust for awhile now, just gotta get the money for it. also not really lookin to build anything at the moment, ill be gettin another vehicle in the future so im keepin my car for awhile till i get money to buy something else, was lookin into doin somethin like the herkimer except with a 4x4 conversion and a taller lift...not cheep but thatll be awhile from now. just lookin to get a couple more mpg for the city n highway since im gonna be drivin to work everyday then at night drivin another hour to get to college for night classes

          What kind of mufflers would you reccomend?

            i have been using magnaflows lately.......i really like the sound!
