I just noticed I have a over drive on and off switch. I live in the city with a lot of lights and stopping and going. Should I leave it on or off. I just don't want any premature transmission failure.

do you reach speeds of 45 or higher at any point in your travels? If so, and you then do frequent stops, turn it off. If not, just leave it alone...
BTW, It will turn overdrive back on everytime you turn the car on. So you'll have to turn it off everytime. -
