I love my magnaflows but they're not behind a 4.6 or any cats. I would imagine they'd be quieter but I don't really know. I bought the 14" case ones.sigpic

My exhaust guy said the same thing...that I couldn't go wrong with Magnaflows at all. Since I've put them on I've done a few KMs and they've opened up a bitsigpic

Theres a vid of mine, behind 4 cats. Theres about 300 miles on them at this point, they have about 1k now and are louder and throatier. I know alot of people don't realize this, and alot of shops don't seem to stock them but Magnaflow has the straight thru line and the XL line, the XL are a 3 chamber turbo muffler. So if straight thru is too loud, the few clips I have heard on youtube, the XLs have a pretty mean sound as well.1990 LTD Crown Vic w/ dead 5.0

nice mufflers but too pricey
1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
