    At the risk of hijacking the thread just slightly, what's changed about the cams between '95 and '96?

      Why in particular must the vehicle remain SOHC?

        I would have to assume if its going in some type of race car that it is regulations limited to be a SOHC. Are you carburating it? Or do the regulations not require that?

            You are correct, it is a race car and must stay SOHC and it will be fuel injected.

              Its going to be hard to find specs for stock pistons..You might want to find an older single cam 4.6 and swap a set of PI SOHC heads to bump up the compression.
