What speed is best for MPG on highway?

LI to NYC it's not like you'll be moving very fast anyway!

Keep it under 70 and you'll pull 24 pretty easily.

I usually drive out of manhattan at 8am on Sunday, and leave to go into Manhattan at 9PM, so I hit absolutely no traffic.

It's scary to drive outside of Manhattan on Sunday mornings because theres literally no cars in site! So I have pretty much an open road, and free to do what ever speed limit.
