Monroe Sense-a-tracks are the softest I know of. They are a little bouncy though. They feel like dead stock shocks. The 2 I already listed are just as soft without the bounce.

Check on RockAuto.com for the part number. Much better search and maybe better prices.

Here's the vid I was taking about going over the bumps.

they are not bumps but they are patched potholes and I was going over it at 40ish mph

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

you can hear my interior rattling like crazy. can this. be a seized shock?

kinda sounds like you just have shitty roads. may be a seized shock but if you can push down on all 4 corners and they move freely, thats likely not it.

+1 shitty roads. your car is a LOT quieter than mine going over hot patch.

My car used to be even quieter! must of been the michilin symmetrys, those tires would make smooth roads floaty and would abosrb bumps better... My Toyo A/S tires don't do it as good

yeah... different tires will make a HUGE difference in road noise.

                    Not necessarily...

When I swapped my front shocks I found out that one of them was shot (would fully compress by its own weight) and the other was completely seized. All four corners seemed to move just fine with bounce tests. So, he might have the same problem.

If the car starts to drift in one direction when you let go of the steering wheel, that's one sign.

Putting it here because I keep forgetting to mention it. It's not very exciting at the moment.

My car does in fact shift when I let go of the wheel. I thought my alignment went out again but I haven't really hit any potholes since I got my last alignment

Hey guys so I wanted to give an update. My car seemed to fix itself! The rough roads are now absorbed again and theres no vibration in the steering wheel. Is it possible for a seized shock to fix itself?

Yes. Something breaks loose that caused it to seize and it'll function for a time, but it's a good time to save up for new shocks.

x2 If anything, I would be more worried now than before because you know for a fact something needs replacing.

could also mean the shock bolts stripped out and its not connected to anything.

Wouldn't the car be a lot more bouncy then? Almost uncontrollably bouncy?
