I have an 07 GMQ with a little over 80K on the clock. Lately I've noticed that after I get where I'm going the idle will increase slightly after I put her in park. It surges a little then goes back to normal. If I sit there sometimes it keeps doing so over and over. I'm guessing the IAC valve or MAF sensor or something. Any ideas?

I'd start by cleaning the MAF with approved cleaner, and clean the IAC and see what you get. Hunting idle is usually IAC. The other thing that comes to mind is a vacuum leak.These are highly engineered precision vehicles, the first step in diagnosing the problem is to strike the suspected offending part sharply and repeatedly with a blunt object, then re-test. -
My 96 tc did the same thing. Then one day just wouldn't stay running unless I gave er gas. Was the iac valve.
