    Stuck in Anti-slosh

So I know this topic has been sort of beat to death, but can't really find a definitive answer.

Recently my car will take 45-55 minutes to register to full tank after a fill-up. My driving cycles are never usually longer than 30 minutes, so sometimes it takes 2-3 cycles to fully register full. What leads me to believe it's stuck in anti-slosh is because I'm cycling it through multiple drive cycles, NEVER fill up with the ignition, accessories, or car on, but it will start to register accurately once it "catches up." Any idea what it could be? Someone, on some thread, had mentioned a faulty ground as a possible culprit. But could it also be a sending unit, or more likely the cluster? Any ideas or experience would be greatly appreciated. '08 CVPI, if it's not already in my sig.

Check all the connectors and cleen them. The ones near the tank of get coraded. there should be a ground near there to the frame also.

My 06 used to do that periodically. I did beat on the car alot. So maybe the repetitive motion and all that goodness would force it to sort itself out quickly.

That is how you're supposed to jack it.

Yeah, I don't beat on my car at all. Give it the occasional WOT on an on ramp to clear out the pipes, but that's about it.

BTW, love your build. Took a good hour this afternoon reading your build thread. Quite jealous, and urge you to keep on going!

Also didn't get underneath to look at the ground wires. Changed the serp belt, idler, and tensioner though, and pulled the NA 6.2 diesel out of a CUCV blazer.

Well filled up after driving through the rain yesterday, and it popped right up to full. Then filled up a couple hundred miles later after driving through dry roads, and back to anti slosh. Definitely thinking it's a bad ground now. Will slide under there this week and clean up those connections.

Whales get a little rust up in their hind quarters, it's a good assumption.

Thank you. It's got much much more to be done.

Just so I'm not looking around forever...can you point me to some specific spots where they are?
