That's a ground wire, pushes over the stud next to the injector right below it.

Since I used the given self tapping screws (that don't have a stud coming out of it) im out of luck here, can I tap into somewhere else as a ground?

Can I just but that ground wire to a stud on the alternator bracket?

what are you talking about? The stud there on the coolant crossover that bolts it down to the head right next to the yellow injector. Poke the end over that. It's just a slip-on type. No screwing or bolting to be done.

the new intake has recommended i use there screws instead of reusing the old ones. the new screws don't have studs, so i was going to use the old stud and secure it to the alternator bracket with a nut and use that as a ground

What are you talking about? The stud is clearly there, right next to the injector. The self taping screws are for the COPs which you don't even have.

no no, i believe the ground plug went into the stud that went into the bar securing the fuel rail. that bolt you circled is where i put the stud in, i don't believe it goes in anymore as it just turns in place. I believe that there isn't a whole in the head for it to go in

I'm sensing something was bolted in wrong then. No stud should spin in place. If it does, it doesn't go there.

that's what I'm trying to say, it doesn't go there, and the studs were made to secure the fuel rail to the intake. However, since I used the new screws (that didn't include studs) to secure the fuel rail to the intake, I need a place to put this stud. What I did is use a nut and bolt the stud to the alternator bracket, which in turn, bolts to the block. I believe this should be a good ground
