Check Engine Light won't stay off.

Alright, so the check engine light won't stay off in my 2000 CV, and it keeps throwing the same code no matter how many times I clear it. The code is:

0453 - Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor High Input.

We cleared it several times until I just gave in and replaced the sensor. But even still it keeps throwing the code, and it reappears whenever I turn off and turn on the car again after I clear it. Any ideas?

See if this helps. As you know, you can clear the code until the cows come home - without the repair it will return.

check the vent line to the charcoal canister. The vent valve on the top of the tank may also be clogged.

Pressure Sensor High Circuit Input? Check the wiring. If it immediately comes on that's usually an indication of a wiring problem. EVAP related codes do not normally throw a code right away as you must meet certain criteria for the computer to run its EVAP monitor. If you can remove your gas cap without hearing hissing I doubt there's an actual pressure issue.

That's what we have pretty much narrowed it down to. Is there a wiring diagram somewhere? Or should we just trace all the wires from the source and see if any of them have a break?

EDIT: I guess I need to know which of the 3 wires (what color) is the FTP signal wire.
