My 97 Grand Marquis randomly stalls when slowing to go around a corner or onto a different street, and when stopping at a red light. It starts right back up, and sometimes you might feel it in the engine that's its going to stall, and sometimes it just unexpectedly stalls without any warning. I've already replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor with a new one and it stopped stalling for a day but then the next day it starts stalling again. The engine is idling smoothly, unless you feel it stall out.

does it do it less with a full tank? I'm wondering if maybe the fuel sock on the bottom of the pump is missing or damaged and you're getting some slosh problems.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

also, check the fat wire going to the starter to make sure it's not swinging loose. If it is, it's probably contacting the exhaust and the insulation is gone and shorting out. This will cause the voltage to drop far enough to kill the engine.

Check your connections at the battery. My battery tie down came loose and would swing over and contact the positive terminal on the battery and short it out through the hood.
