    P71 noisy fuel pump...

A few weeks ago I started up the P71 and I heard a loud humming/whining that sounds like a pump. It was comming from the rear and just to make sure I moved the steering wheel to see if it was the power steering, which it wasnt. It got quiter after about a minute and then went away and once I started driving it came back very softly at slower speeds (30-40 mph). It has done this about 3 times now and once I get her up to highway speeds it goes away. It idles fine, and seems to have full power. Does this noise mean the pumps on its way out? Just want to know if I should start thinking about changing the pump.

could have been from sittin... some pumps are louder than others... my car is almost silent, but my fiance's car is louder... sometimes fuel filter change reduces the noise from less restriction on pump
