I'm having a smiliar issue with my 94 right now, only mine has gotten worse and worse over the last few months until now it will barely stay running. I'm thinking it's the maf. If it starts progressing you might be in the same boat. I haven't get around to ruling things out yet since I'm pretty broke, let me know if you find a solution please.
