Kyle posted this in a Panther facebook group discussion board:
"Hello fellow Panther enthusiasts,
I have owned my 2000 Grand Marquis LS for about two years now and I have enjoyed it greatly. I have remained loyal to the Panther platform as this is my second G.M. however, I have poured over $2500 into this car since November of 2008. It now has 162,000km's.
Recently, the connection between its ODB 2 computer and the rest of the car has been lost. It is not known whether a wire has corroded or disconnected, or if the computer itself is shot.
Aside from putting another thousand into the problem, does anybody have any ideas on how to go about this problem?
Thanks"
