Looking at a '95 Town Car. What issues do I need to look for? I know there are some issues with the intakes and valve seals, but what years? 125k on it.

Hi Torquelover
Blocked EGR channels (check engine lights after a few minutes on the road), oil leak from the filter adapter gasket, windows not working (but motor running), transmission shudder and all the usual 125,000 mile wear and tear shit.

Also possible air suspension issues, but they're easy enough to fix, either with air springs or coil springs if you want to go that route. If the back doesn't sit on the ground overnight, its fine.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Do the valve seals ASAP. Dont fuck around. Clogged EGR passways, clogged cats, blue smoke, fouled plugs, and contaminated o2 sensors are in your future.
Look for a 96 in my opinion. Just gotta change the manifold.
95 has all alumi. mani.

Hi 1987cp
Nothing!
It has a few more toys than a 97 and that's about it.
It was the first year for the plastic intake which in my opinion makes it worse than a 95

I really would like to find a black on black handling-package equipped TC, but every one I see is thrashed pretty badly. My funds won't be here for a few weeks yet, so I have not gone out to see the '95. Not many people are buying big V8 cars right now, so I hope it's there when the time comes.
