the wife is looking at a 99 gm. how does this compair with an 88 cv as far as ride, performance, and fuel economy?

I'm sure that ride and performance will be an improvement. Not to sure about gas mileage though. Be sure to check the intake manifold to see if its been replaced. The plastic ones without the aluminum reenforcement are very prone to cracking.

'92s are a league of their own, with their bastard block 4.6 (Windsor Bolt Pattern). You won't really see any big difference in gas mileage. It'll perform a little better. It'll ride about the same, if not better.

It'll be better all around, except in town milage will suffer a little, but not really noticable.

i have owned an 88, a 94 and a 00. the 00 is my fav. you guys will love the whale.
