    running plat plugs in a car that didnt have them oem may not be the most efficient application, but they can run on em.

    the reason i asked if plat or not is to make sure you're putting the right plugs in was all

      Hopefully I'll be replacing said wires and plugs, if they are indeed fouled, next weekend. I'll be sure to check the car for the right info - trusting Autozone's info may have been a mistake. Sometimes they don't have all the facts.

        I have never liked platinum plugs. The increased life of these is not worth the decreased performance. I'm going to try some iridium tipped plugs next.

          Ain't that the case. Like all the different discount stores who didn't bother to ask what size drums we had on the Cavalier and would have sold me the wrong shoes if I hadn't double-checked what they were trying to give me.
