It was in 1995 that was deleted for sure. Cause they don't list the starter relay anymore. After that, it's one part.

Man you do not give up easily but I am a tolerant man and I would be most grateful if you would indulge me for a moment.
Below is a picture of the engine bay on my '92 Town Car, build date 06/92.
Do you think you could do me a BIG favour and point out the starter solenoid?
Many thanks

Wow, that's like IDENTICAL to mine! Really! Okay, I guess that wasn't supposed to be a suprise. Ya know Dereck, when you said it didn't have a relay or selinoid I decided to double-check for myself, because the Haynes Repair manual was confusing, not being very specific as to which year models had what. Instead of simply identifying it by year, it identified ignition systems by sprak system. That is confusing for a non-mechanic like myself, so I said, "Hey, I'll check after this Dereck bloke." I found no such part, so as far as I can see, you are %100 correct! Unfortunately, that means Loretta will be going to the shop instead of being repaired at home. :cuss: Oh well.Back in the saddle again!

This is a very good point. But the last time I roundhouse kicked a car it flew up so high that it put a hole in the ozone layer and knocked the NASA Challenger out of the sky. I've decided since then that I would save my roundhouse kicks for skinheads and drug dealers.Back in the saddle again!
