The EGR for my 04 LTC was $235 from the dealer. Duralast was $177 from Autozone. Motorcraft from Rock Auto was $150. Sort of a easy choice!

So I got my $5 closeout "high performance blue" (or so the were listed) no-name (that I've heard of) valve cover gaskets at lunch today... opened the box to find good old cork gaskets!

I did the online return-claim thing and got a 'keep it' + refund reply and a processed refund before I got home from work.
It doesn't get any better than that!

ordered myself a radiator and associated bits for the truck last night. Couldn't really think of any non-related stuff other than an oil and air filter for it. I should have gotten a caliper for my mom's Blazer, but there are 2 different possible kinds, and I don't know what hers has.
