Anyone have a Ford part # for either of the box 351 A/C brackets (meaning the early one for the GM compressor OR the more common one for the Nippondenso)?
Thanks in advance!!!sigpic

It might be a couple months, but when I pull my 351 out, I can see if there is a part number on the bracket. I don't recall seeing one though, I know it has "5.8L" stamped on it-Phil

I can't find the proper section in the parts manual to go with this. There is no listing under 19D896, and in 2888 it says "see 23.1 or 23.2" which my manual doesn't have. The chunk of numbers on the picture is the base part number, you need the prefix and suffix to make it properly useful. Every Ford AC bracket is going to have this same base part number associated with it.

Thanks to everyone! Hopefully I can make some progress finding one with that, and another helpful member who PM'd me. Yes, Brown_Muscle, you were reading my mind! That would be helpful, even just some pics from a few different angles with a scale or tape measure would be great in case I need to fabricate.
Edit: I should say "them" because it looks like all the associated A/C pieces are very different than what I have on my '79/302/Frigidaire, but I need to take gadget73's exploded view and go study under Quincy's hood to be sure...Last edited by Quincy; 01-10-2021, 03:18 PM.sigpic
