I do not believe there are any spoons. 1.6 is the stock. If its hitting stuff, the usual fix is to remove whatever its hitting, or fit taller valve covers. I can tell you that the 1985 Mustang valve covers fit with Scorpion 1.72 rockers.

stock stamped rocker ratio is 1.6. If you haven't converted to studded heads yet, you can pickup a set of those off just about any Ford in the yard for a few bucks
