looking for a gray door pull
My husband's 1989 MGM needs a gray door pull that would replace the one he has. The leather is pretty much shot on it. Thanks I saw some dark brown and burgundy ones for sale just what I need only thing wrong is the color.

I'll have to check at my dad's house this weekend, I'm pretty sure it's no longer there but I could be wrong.
Also, I think that there was a dark gray and a light gray that has been used for these interiors, but again I could be wrong.
In case there is more than one shade of gray, post a pic for reference if you get a chance to.Vic

That's the same color as the ones that we had at my dad's house but I'm pretty sure they are no longer there, I'll check this weekend though.Vic

too bad, the junkyard nearby just got rid of two panthers with gray interiors a few months back. If I had a big house with a garage I would stock up on as many parts as possible. But I don't... so... yeah.

Like I thought the ones that were at my dad's place are no longer there. Shame since there were the same color as what you are looking for and in good shape, but I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.Vic

HELP!! (Sorry, I yelled.
) Okay, our door pulls for our 89 MGM arrived today Now, how do you take the old one off and put the new one on? Do we have to take the whole door off? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For getting the door panel off take a look at my post in another thread (and actually gadget's post in that thread as well) explaining how to get at the door lock actuators.
Once you get the door panel off I believe there is a nut on each end of the door pull on the backside of the door panel that you will remove to get the door pull off of the panel. Even though I have had these doors apart many times, I've never actually replaced the door pull but I'm pretty sure it's just those two nuts once the door panel is off.Vic
