89. I am not sure what years will work. I know alot of vics had that wide aluminum trim on the bottom, and the fender trim from those is too short. Mine has the trim on the bottom that is about 2'' wide and the fender pieces go all the way to the bottom of the car

89-91 will work. 88 was a one-off year and 79-87 are a different shape.

no... it's yards or ebay, etc with these. my 88 needs both on the driver side... but they're clean enough... so meh.

Yeah, there are the cheesy looking aftermarket stainless ones; but they are too blingy for my taste. So i will just keep on the lookout. It just really sucks because the rest of the car is mint, and the guy I got it from scraped them on his gate posts when he backed out of his driveway.

I'm looking for the front left and rear right fender trim pieces for my 90MGM as well. I was eventually going to ask if the 88-91 (or I guess 89-91 according to sly) crown vic fender trim pieces would work, but by the sounds of it I'm guessing no. I tried carpart.com but I didn't have any luck, unless I was selecting the wrong part name.

Only police/base crown Victoria trim will work for you. The regular crown vic's had cladding at the bottom and the trim indented into that cladding.~David~

Carpart.com will lead you to wrecking yards that have the cars. For parts like that, you will have to make some calls. They may or may not want to sell just that part, you will have to be patient.
Another idea is on Ebay, search by: Mercury grand marquis NOS. You might find some pricey new ones.
