Grand Marquis lower rear window trim

Hey guys. I believe, in the '79, '80, '81 range, some Grand Marquis sedans were available with bright trim on the rear winow. I have an '89 that I'm looking to slicktop. I have all the other trim from an '89 Crown Vic. Of course the bottom trim is different. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I did a slick top conversion on my '89 and I used the bright rear window trim from a Crown Vic. It will fit, although it doesn't have the offset portion on the lower center section. Another option would be to use the side and upper bright sections from a Crown Vic and then remove the paint from, and polish, the lower section from a Grand Marquis.

Tom, I have the side, and top CV trim. As far as polishing the lower trim, it's the "krinkle" finish that will remain. I would like it to be completely smooth. The only thing coming to mind is lead filling it, polishing that out, then clearcoating it.
