Looking for a trip minder wiring harness for my car. i got the trip minder just no plug for the back. i dont care if it has no harness as long as i have the plug! thanks

If you want to make your own harness, the connector is actually the same as the door chime.

Wow awesome I didn't know that, my friend pulled it from his 83 Victoria and junked the car but forgot to clip the harness. I'm actually gonna put this one in my 88 thunderbird, I installed one in my marquis last spring.

Where is the door chime located? I'll go to the junk yard and clip one tomorrow

I gotta dig threw old pages to look up wiring and what not, I remember someone wrote a very nice article including wire colors and fixing trip minders when buttons don't work

The door chime is under the dash, a little to the left of where the radio sits. BTW, if you're putting a crown vic tripminder in a cougar or thunderbird, the brackets are different.

I just poked my head under the dash on my marquis and the door chime plug is not the same as my trip minder. Darn.

My trip minder has like a long flat connecter stile.
