Door molding clips for a 1989 Grand Marquis LS

I recently done some rust repair on my passenger front door. I am in need of the clips that hold the molding on. They are about 1 inch square with two curve legs on the bottom. I will need about 8 clips.

    Thank so much in advance.

Good luck. I have about 3 unbroken ones and I'm saving those for the off chance I can get someone with a laser modeling system to scan them for potential 3D printer fodder.

My car is also missing 4 or 5. These things are more rare than hen's teeth.

I saw some on a car at the yard today and grabbed the only 2 that weren't broken, because it reminded me of this post. I'll get some pictures and you tell me if this is what you need

Damn it looks like one of them must have broke in my toolbox. one is still good and the other still has a little prong left and a full one on the other side.
not sure if it can still be used

The moulding was pulled off of the car already and these were right in the open.

Sorry slymer but one of the visors was missing

I sent slymer a dual driver side visor just the other day. It's a light blue, but maybe he has what he needed.

Got the visor from sXc and it works great. I was hoping to just swap out the clip, but ended swapping out the entire visor since the rods on the second visor are different sizes. I'm just glad to have a working visor that won't flop around when cornering.

that's the exact clip he needs. I glued the damn things (missing the springy bits) to the molding and mounted it to the car that way. Sux if it ever gets hit on that side since those will never come off again.

Sure I will take them, let me know what you want for them.

Thanks to all of the people out there searching for these for me.

I am still in need about 7 to 10 more of these. My car looks naked without that molding on. All the scrap-yards in my area of the country don't have any cars older then 1994.

Honestly I paid nothing for them so just pay the shipping and they're yours.

With bubble wrap and an envelope I'd say shipping would be about $3

I'll PM you my PayPal address if you're interested. And if you need more I'll stay on the lookout.

Dad mentioned they used to buy these by the box at auto-paint supply stores back in the day or check with a body shop to see if they have old stock or could get a line on any.
