        Well that is unfortunate. Another member just purchased them and had no problem though. Strange. Good luck in your search then.

          Wow this thread is a train wreck.

          99unit, you're being extremely unclear in nearly every post. Why do you feel you're unable to obtain either of the universal window channel replacements so many guys have been using with so much success?

            I went where I was told to go and I just can't fine it on there so i called them on the phone looking for the window channel replacements AND THEY TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE THEY DO NOT HAVE IT?

              OK I called them back and I ask them if that was a part # and they told me it was and they ask me how much of it do i need ?

              So my new ? is how much of it do i need for a 4 door 1982 LTD with out the vent widow

                If you asked over the phone for anything Crown Victoria they of course don't have it. I found out this part works by ordering samples and testing them in spare doors I had.Click image for larger version

                  Okay I see you understand now..Sorry I cannot help you out with size though as I have no idea...I know for my two door I used nearly a complete piece for one window....and I know for certain that vent and non vent use nearly the same size.

                      Four would definitely do the trick. I say it is best to purchase four as to purchasing three then piecing one together to make the fourth. One piece weatherstripping is much better than a cobbled together one.

                            Mike, Just measured the ones I pulled out of the doors for you.The fronts are 60" long & the rears are 48" long.If you can't get them let me know I've got them. Ed
