OEM Ford 8.8 28-spline locking differential carrier

A seller just posted this on eBay with three available. This is the carrier only. You’ll still need the spider gears, clutches, and center pin/retaining screw. These normally go for between $200 and $350. This listing is for $99 with free shipping. Get ‘me while they’re hot!

How much do you think it's going to be to get the rest of the parts? Surely my MGM has 28-spline axles?
Shit, I wouldn't mind the estimated shipping of 36€ at all.

The part number for the OEM Ford 28-spline spider gears is 2L1Z-4215-EA. They’ll run you anywhere from $100-$200 before shipping. The clutch kit varies from about $75-$150 depending on if you get the carbon fiber (Ford Performance M-4700-C) or standard clutches (M-4700-A).

It’s still not terribly cheap, but I don’t imagine you’ll find many used, complete differentials in Finland.

Yeah, this would be a cheap-ish way to get a limited slip, but I guess I'll have to pass. All of the needed parts, bearings, gaskets etc, shipping and duties combined it's probably going near 500€ for me.

I have more important things to spend five hundo on, on this car and in life in general. There's one SN95 Trac-lok diff for sale here, supposedly needing new clutches, for 300€. Going with the new carrier and stuff would allow me to keep my original 3.08 gears that I kinda like.
