    1980? LTD in Cyril, OK - $1500

Looks to be at least an '82 Crown Vic rather than an LTD. Decent price but could probably get them lower. Might be worth a look for someone in search of a two door!

From the ad: "Car runs, in good shape, just needs full complete tuneup and tires. Deceased couple, 1 owner car original owners bought brand new"

80 is right I think. I think they moved the mirrors to the later style in 81. Crown Vic was the top option package on the LTD through 82.
Wonder why it has base model bumpers?

Yeah, you’re right. I didn’t notice before that it has the VIN on the ad.

OMG it's got mirrors like normal cars! I bet you can even see shit with them. Seriously, box mirrors BLOW.

My '83 is an LS, but had a number of lower trim options such as the bumpers without plastic, AM-FM-only radio, no leather wheel, no cornering lamps or autolamps.

I think with the earlier cars it is not as straightforward as what trim level the model is. It seems like the buyers were given a pretty wide selection of boxes to check or not check in addition to just the trim level (which itself seems to have been largely meaningless).

What I find unusual about the bumpers here is that the car does have the bodyside rubber bumper to resist door dings, but doesn't have the equivalent option for the bumpers.
