Found this on my local craigslist. Haven't seen a 2-tone one in a long time.

Complete with lopo knock. Good for another 100K.

Yea, there is that, and the dents in the decklid, pass side, etc. That top looks to be ok though. I'd bet if someone came up with 1K in hand they'd take it. It's a nice color combo and the interior looks to be clean. Looks like no rust on the fenders or quarters either. Not bad for 159K miles around here with the salt. Wonder what the underside looks like? These are highly engineered precision vehicles, the first step in diagnosing the problem is to strike the suspected offending part sharply and repeatedly with a blunt object, then re-test.

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

Meh, it's puttin' me to sleep along with it's gray interior which like 90% of these got.
One look at that coolant overflow reservoir tells me what got it knockin'. Ain't no 100k left in that turd, least not without a lot of love.1985 LTD Crown Victoria - SOLD
