Nice Lincoln especially for that price ! Would be nice to know exactly what was done . I had a 82 Mk 6 with the TBI. and the previous owner butchered a bunch of stuff on the cheap.
The demo guys might pick that car up and part it out. Might get the purchase price just on the wheels.
Hope someone here gets it !

If it were closer, I'd go check it out as new daily. It looks really decent and finding an HO under the hood would make it even better.1990 Country Squire - under restoration

Even if its not a HO, a SEFI engine is just worlds better than the eec3 CFI bullshit it would have had.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

A friend's ex-girl drives on of those, badged "Concours". A tired, beat up little thing, puttering inline-6, column shift manual and fuck all for options. Has a full vinyl top though, hiding all the sin underneath.1985 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, "Maisa"

Good deal. It must have been special ordered. Manual windows with power locks. Bottom of the line seats, am fm radio. Interesting assist straps in the middle of the rear door panels. Those look like what would be on a taxi.Rear arrn rest delete. Rally wheels, Rally side view mirrors.Tach or vacuum gauge delete, Clock and the stupid looking shoulder straps that hooked onto the seat belts. The car looks like it has been sitting for awhile. Price is great. Would be a nice daily driver.

Right, a very reliable drivetrain!
Indeed, Tom! I noticed those things as well, even the 305 must've been an option. I noticed something about rear defrost? There's a switch on the lower portion of the dash to the left of the steering wheel, IIRC. Yet I didn't see a grid on the rear window, maybe you could get a blower back there for a few bucks less than the grid which actually works. My kind of car though. Looks really solid too and best of all, unmolested. If our oldest was a bit older, I'd scoop it up for her to use as a DD.1985 LTD Crown Victoria - SOLD

base engine would have probably been either a 250 I6 or the 229 V6. Not sure what they were sticking in Novas in the late 70s but of the two I'd rather have the I6. My grandmom had a Pontiac Ventura which was a Nova with a different grille. V6 car, pretty sure it was the odd fire Buick 3.8 that came before the 231.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Just a blower on most things, but some makes and models might have had a little grid heater built into them.
Works great for defogging, but kinda useless for defrosting.1985 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, "Maisa"
