I'd love to find one of those early Monarchs or Granadas in a four door setup with an I6. Perfect slow cruiser.

Not all of them have pinstripes though Thats one of their small ones, the 10EE. They made some that were considerably more massive.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

IIRC I've seen a Granada with a 4-speed and a 302. A monarch would be better. Hmmm sleeper.1990 Country Squire - under restoration

They made Fox granadas too. There's one here in SoCal that's super clean, with a 3.3 I6 and 4 doors, but the clowns want like 6 grand for it, lol. My grandmother had a blue late '70s Granada, and our neighbor had a Monarch. Funny the things you recall when reminded. I'm still a perv about the Fox Boxes. Miss my zephyr...

That looks exactly like one of the many 1975-1980s I had. They were excellent cars considering they were a midsize with above average comfort. Affordable with very good gas mileage. I think the last new one I bought in 1980 cost only $4,800. In 2014 I saw it when I was in Ca. It was in pretty bad shape, but still on the road. I would snag that Monarch up. It would be dependable, cheap on mechanical parts. (hard to find body parts though). Price is reasonable considering the shape it is in. If kept in good shape, you could get your money back, if not more.
