This is a good deal and seems to be in good shape. I would really like this. My wife would not like a number 8 !

I think I'm in love. Fark that is sexy, black on red, my ideal combo. Give that thing a good cleaning, work out the CFI kinks and cruise. Too far away for me otherwise I'd probably buy it.

        Dear Panthers,
Everything looks good except the "owned by mechanics" part. In my experience mechanics are too busy earning their living to maintain their cars.

Agreed it looks like a good deal. Been in a garage for most of its life. Porno red leather wrapped steering wheels are hot.

I just noticed it has a salvaged title, I wonder if that affects title transfer?

oooh, I didn't see that. Yep, every car I every bought or knew that was "mechanic owned" was held together by hopes, dreams & zipties. Just enough effort to keep it going.

Agreed, buying a car owned by "mechanics" is about like buying a house owned by a "contractor". Otherwise it looks pretty nice though. Who knows, maybe it's not a total turd.

Love how they don't show the problem areas. Something is up with the vinyl top, note the discoloration above the rear window. The "cow catcher" style bumpers trap water and need to be cleaned out everywhere along the inside. The door bottoms, rockers, and fenders are in unknown condition; the stupid trim hides the area where they get crusty. Definitely worth checking out though. +1 best color combination.

There is a strange uniformity to the dirty / darkened seats and door panels. Makes me wonder if the car was submerged in a flood at some point. That would explain a salvage title. Victim of Sandy perhaps?
