The 4v looks good in there.

Why do they need a GV OD?

Sure looks well done, aside from the tacky shit in the interior. Just cant make myself like whales. Interior looks too vague & bland. Always thought Lincolns should've gotten a step above what Fords & Mercurys got. Like TC's should've gotten the HO motor in the 80's, at least optional plus disc brakes all way round, digital climate control and ABS.

Lincolns got the Black interiors and more back seat room. Couldn't get that in a Gm or CV (except taxi package). The closest you could come was the Marauder in Charcoal.

Some more power would have been nice, but given the target market I think they decided it would never sell. Maybe they were right, maybe not. GM tried it in the mid 90s with the Impala SS, and that didn't last very long for them.

Depends who you talk to. Chebby people seem to nut in their pants a little when you bring those or Grand Nationals up but people like me just kinda go, "Oh yeah, those were neat." I think if you made it optional it would've at least given the old farts a choice. Just like how they did the 400 or 460 with the barges back in the day. Despite the gas crunch many still had the bigger engine over other options. Seems the older crowd swore power over convenience. I forget, was there anything special with the LT1 that was in the Gazelle SS? I want to say there wasn't... So just a trim & bloat package like a Trans AM vs Formula Firebird.

@ Jay, yeah but those seats weren't very comfy either. Sat in a few while getting shuttled around from various places back in the day. Corporate and cold was the feeling I got from them. Warm & inviting is what I get from sitting in a box or early aero car.
