That's even cleaner than my cars. And mine are rust free for the most part. The CFI though...

      Nice.

I see I'm not the only one who has their full size spare mounted in the doughnut spare location.

Hmm. That's got the $1,200 or less ringtone to it. Been hit & repainted at some point. CFI not all that bad. You just need to own one to bond with it.

"Bond with it" - Get so tired of it you stop messing with it and just deal with it.

"bond with it" translates to "research SEFI conversion threads"

Its actually fixable if you're patient and know its bullshit. Or you can just make it go away entirely and not have to learn its bullshit.

I highly suggest you guys own one! I bonded with mine a lot. Bought it in January, had to start it with a screw driver for a week, wouldn't stay running at idle, trans slipped and would randomly stall out. Down the road it was smooth like silk. All it took to get it to run like intended was bonding with the choke-pull off stuff, refurbing it, setting it, cleaning out the carbon build up in the EGR, new gaskets for the TB, dialing in the idle, a grommet for the trans linkage, adjusting that properly and then the ignition control module doo-hickey that mounts to the dizzy. If I had done that it wouldn't stall randomly and if I knew how to adjust the dashpot for the idle control I could've made it perfect. Sold it to get my TC though I miss it though. Like the look of the old round air cleaners & such.

Well come to think of it, unless you set the choke thing it would not start unless you pushed the throttle a bit. Don't know WTF that was about. Would just crank & crank otherwise.

I understand it plenty... and it's a headache I don't want. EFI is bad enough.

Then there's the old "what works for one might not work for some." EFI is great compared to carbs. Less moving shit, more wires & circuitry though. If you stay stock you'll have less headaches me thinks.

Wow, another very late '85! CHMSL with CFI. Not as well optioned as my '85 but it's close. Interesting how it got the two tone door panels yet my car didn't. LOVE that light bronze-ish color, damn shame the repaint/repaired areas aren't even remotely close to matching! Hate how drain holes, pass side frame bulkhead, inside of trunk lid, door bottoms, etc. aren't shown. Wouldn't go more than $1500 for it as-is.
