The problem with that (or any uncracked dash pad you find) is they still eventually crack. I've had two mint ones now develop cracks just sitting in storage out of the sun. Crappy 30 year old material.
get the Coverlay ABS cover (CV/MGM only and not all years), sand down the cracks that curled up... put some adhesive (not much if you ever want to re-do it)... press on... paint... done for another 10 years or so.

sometimes they need more than a little massaging to get them to fit... but liberal use of a sander on the original pad can help with that. According to rumor, someone may or may not have bought one yesterday and may or may not be installing it in the coming weeks, so we may or may not get to see it. (Not me btw.)
I just run a carpeted dash mat and its fine. I have a matching one for the rear deck/package tray. It works to hide the cracks in the dash and feels more in place with the rear matching.

Exactly what I do. Plus the dash carpet is significantly cheaper.
My 89 LTC had the coverlay. It was installed right and you could barely tell it was there. I didn't even notice it until I got the car home. The only thing I noticed was the Autolamp tended to come on little early (must have had smaller holes for the light to pass through the sensor.

My coverlay fits like crap, but only I really notice. I get the appeal of the carpet, but every car guy (at least) knows that there must be a shredded hunk of plastic under there. Never had anyone ask about the cover.
