Ya, I do believe that might be legitimate miles, price isn't bad considering when will you ever find another 1400 mile wagon.

Still would need a full rebuild if it was ever goign to be put back on the road, 20 years of sitting does nothing good for any car.

Wow. It does actually look like that could be legit mileage. 1400 seems more likely than 101,400... underneath, the interior. My first instinct not seeing it in person is that its legit.

Considering non-runner... I would try to talk them down to $2K. Then swap something nice under the hood and replace all the other needed bits for happiness and drive the hell outta it. Little too nice for me though. I want something that looks a little used.

Normally I'd agree, but if the 1400 miles is legit, the price honestly isn't bad. Again, when will you find another like this?
I'd go through it quick, get it running, a solid cleaning inside and out, and throw it up on eBay or BAT.

Someone with too much money will drop 10-15k on that easy.

If the mileage is correct, those are probably the original tires. Some of the advertisement and brochure photos showed off the tires with the large whitewall. They look like a 2" or so stripe.

I see the roof rack deflector and rear defrost. That's it.
Keep in mind that A/C and digital clock were delete items for civilian CV's in '87. I'm guessing those wheel covers are also as base as you probably couldn't get dig dishes if your weren't fleet.

It has a split front bench. Wasn't there still a more basic solid front bench still available?

There was in '86 at least. I drove one once. It was the most stripped down wagon I've ever seen, didn't even have cruise control but it had a tripminder. I think the cruise servo was actually there, but it did not have controls on the wheel or the module under the dashboard. 2-shaft radio too. It did have AC. I've honestly only ever seen pictures of AC delete cars.
