    1988 Ford LTD Crown Victoria P72

    Looks like this old P72 might have an interesting story to share. Oddities I'm seeing are a Flying-M Mercury emblem on the steering wheel and a 302 HO upper intake. If I had the time to get a project car like this drivable, I would. I bet this car could be had for less than $500, and if anything it's solid underneath.

    Somebody should really try to get this thing.

      I agree with just the plaque being HO. The spark plug wires on the distributor look like lopo firing order to me, assuming the nearest wire is 6.

          Some derby guy will end up with that for sure. They love the HD frames, extra gusseting and thicker in the front.

              Also looks like it has manual crank windows, I didn't think they still did that in the 88-91 years.

                Go get it ! Good cheap project. It isn't a 351 either. I had a 88 CV police car that I picked up near SF. Calif. It originally was from a Canadian police agency and was used in a TV show before I got it. Had to part it out . Too difficult and expensive in Ca. to register.

                  If you get this car, please put up a thread for it if you decide to fix it up. It would be very cool to see that car drivable again instead of being destroyed in a demo derby.

                    I am in the process of doing a efi swap on a 91 5.8 car right now. I would find something to do to the car if I get it.
