    Rare plastic kick down grommets

    For those who demand only the finest original equipment. Ford's better ideas. This is for you.

    Normally these can only be found in the salvage yards on cars with bad transmissions and alas the "fine" plastic grommets are then also broken.....

    I normally hate to do this but thought he part is real, do not buy it. I posted this as a bit of humor.

        God only know how long they have been sitting on a shelf. The chemical used to make/keep them white have "left" a long time ago and we all know the "happy" results.....

          Well if anyone is doing a concourse quality judged 100 point restoration on their box, you need one of those.....
          The metal ones aren't OE.

              All vehicles with an AOD that were not made in 1986 used that grommet. The brass one is a factory service part, so you could argue it is original but its not how the vehicle would have left the factory. I still don't get why they didn't keep the 1986 TV cable design. It did not use this stupid plastic grommet.

                It probably cost more, just like the 86 only metal heater hoses under the intake.
