He said he doesn't have pics of the underside, but its in great condition. He said it was kept in a garage until 6 months ago. I asked if he would be willing to take a few.

Chunk out of the seat, etc. 44k it should be almost showroom on the paint and interior, carpet, mats, etc. Underhood, probably all the metal bits are rusted and every rubber hose and every seal on/in the car needs replaced. Not to mention dried-out bushings.

          Just sayin'.

Too me that looks like a leaf on the seat lol. But you are most likely correct on all the rubber needing to be replaced. Unless in that time period they maintained it well enough.

And some people just don't give a shit about their cars lol. I had a friend, at the time was 17 and his parents bought him a car. I don't remember the year but it was an Oldsmobile Alero, damn near perfect condition, after a few months of owning it he smacked up the back bumper, front fender and made the interior look like shit. Spills and burn holes etc. Sad really, it was a nice car for what it was.

That is a leaf on the seat. The interior looks very good... the exterior... needs a bath. The ass is sagging worse than my 88 before the cargo coils.

From $1K to $3K? It's probably going to sit for a while. He would have been better served going the other way around!

$1000 was a good price for the car. I saw it while searching craigslist the other day and liked it but I don't have a need for another box at the moment. (No where to park it )

$3000 is a bit much. He must have saw the other posts on craigslist and eBay and got greedy. Most of those high end posts just sit until they expire it seems like.
