    GT40 Tubular Intake $225

Should I get a GT40 Tubular intake with spacer for $225 locally, or should I wait and figure out what combo I want to run for sure? I would like a setup for 400hp or more and dunno if this would need work done to it or if I should just bite the bullet and buy something brand new aftermarket for my motor later. Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Is that without the lower? 225 seems pretty cheap compared to what I've been looking at on eBay. Of course if I found one in a yard I could get it way cheaper but its not like that'll ever happen. The tubular style LOOKS a lot better than the regular but is there really any other benefit compared to an explorer upper? I guess possibly better airflow

If you're wanting 400 hp. I would get an aftermarket unit. It will make it much easier to reach your goals.

If it is upper and lower (EVEN if the lower is a 351 lower) buy it. Easy to resell on ebay for double.

Upper only and spacer, so I may just pass.

Junkyards around you? Can pull an explorer lower with the internal egr and still profit by selling it as a set.

I agree, I'd go this route and sell it on eBay, you could get at least $400 for it plus shipping and you only be in it at most $300
