    Mark VI parts

I went to the yard today and noticed they had a dark blue Mark VI 2 door. Blue interior as well. It's pretty clean, I know a few of you guys have Mark VI's so if anyone needs parts let me know.

What year and what trim package? If its a Signature, and has an analog dash I want the piece of dash trim between the upper and lower sections on the side where the radio is. Its about an inch tall and probably 20" long. it just pops in place. I have one for a digital dash car, but I don't have digital dash so its got a bunch of stupid looking holes. Unfortunately non-Signature woodgrain is different than what I've got.

Power antenna was intact but I think blinker lenses were gone.

And it was a Signature Series but I'm pretty sure it was a digital dash. I think I recall buttons like the town cars have.

yeah, I expect most Sigs have digital. I know it exists because the car I got my seats from was analog but some JA with a pry bar ripped the radio out before I got there and hosed the dash trim in the process.

hey... front license plate bracket for the off-set cars... those are almost as rare as the blinker lenses (though I already have one).

That grille and hood ornament is hard to find too.

but the MARK VI red badge on the nose looks better than mine... if you can manage to get that off the grill... that would be epic. If not... meh. would be too much for me for shipping the entire grill for just the badge.

Yeah man next time I'm there I'll see if I can get it off without tearing it up. It's definitely a cool car. One thing I noticed was the steering wheel was nice and I may want it to use it in my vic. Same color and stitched and mine is showing some wear. But the horn area was hard plastic. Where are the horn buttons on a mark vi?

Is the wiper control module still intact? Should be located under the dash on the driver's side. I know it's an electrical part, so there no guarantee it would be any good...I think my MK VI needs one because the wipers don't work like they should. I need that license plate bracket if it's not damaged.

Down on the left of the steering column. You have to push in the stock to sound the horn. Weird design...

No, EPIC fail on Ford's part. Alot of the early 80s Fords are like that. I'd love to meet the engineer who thought that was even a remotely good idea.
