Solid lifters? So it needs periodic valve lash adjustments? F that. Slow turd too, just get yourself a Ranger with a 2.3 in it and call it good. Dual tank option is cool, never seen that on a Ranger before.

The diesel motors in the Rangers were made by Mitsubishi. Not very many diesels in Rangers. A handfull were put in Bronco IIs
