'79 ford ltd landu police interceptor

    http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/3078926333.html

It's got the 5.8/351, Dual Exhausts, slotted front bumper, and he only wants $700. Rust and saggy rear though . Could be a good deal for somebody here who's looking.

If the trunk has those "issues" I'd LOVE to see what is waiting underneath! Bobby

The paint is shot all over, but it's most noticible on the decklid, red-splotchy primer? The lower parts of the car aren't THAT bad, but that being said, you'd be on the hook for fuel lines and brake lines and have to inspect the frame closely. It's approaching 40 years old now, if it runs and drives you're lucky. Would probably be best used as a drivetrain donor & hope that desirable front bumper is solid!

! ANOTHER '79, this one 'not a spot of rust,' just under 36k actual miles, and it's gotta have the 5.8 because in the odometer pic you can see 60 - 80 - 100, so it's gotta be a 140mph speedo. $2500/best, in the Ashtabula, Ohio area (straight north of Youngstown, almost on the lake).

I have that so called desirable slotted bumper for sale but nobody is interested so it must not be that desirable.

the shipping is the undesirable part.

Another '79, a bit farther out in Toledo, but the guy has a floor shifter in it: http://toledo.craigslist.org/cto/3204363315.html

The first ad, the guy dropped the price to $600.

nice 79's although I can see the 600 one becoming a derby car

I'd be all over that if I had the space and money for another car...
