my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

A good option if someone is trying to scoop up the 82 header panel from the yard I mentioned in the junkyard photo thread. Still gotta sort out the lenses for the parking lights, though.

Wagon....maybe

The wagon filler neck has no curvy bends, just a single angle bend, and the rest is straight.

Rare item, sure, but I don't think that's going to sell unless a body shop buys it trying to satisfy an insurance job on a high-dollar car.

The 90 in the partnumber made me say wagon for the filler neck...only because I know thats normally not used for a two door/four door...with my limited understanding of the numbers.
Yeah...gonna sit on that fender for a while.
I was just thinking to myself how I can never find a 83 and up grille nos or even an 88 one for that matter.~David~

You always come in clutch! Thanks again. You really know that book.
Now any idea what the difference between 85 and 86...aside from sefi being introduced? Any obvious reasons as to why this would not work in a newer car?Last edited by 87gtVIC; 01-12-2024, 05:56 PM.~David~

85 uses the old style fuel cap (1/4 turn, goes on sort of like a rad cap), 86 uses the new one (threaded). The correlation with the fuel injection system is probably coincidental.

honestly looking things up when you have the part number is easy, its finding the number thats a pain in the neck. Would be way easier if it was searchable text but unfortunately thats not really a thing with scans from paper.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

1979-1989 Ford Crown Victoria LTD Speedometer Instrument Gauge Cluster 12,479 OE
The items description...just hurts my head.
This vintage Ford Crown Victoria LTD speedometer instrument gauge cluster is a must-have for any car enthusiast. Its odometer reading of 12,479 OE showcases its low usage and the sleek design makes it a perfect fit for any vehicle interior. The cluster includes individual gauges for various aspects such as fuel level, temperature, and speed. As you can see in the pictures provided the faceplate is missing, there are a few scratches and discoloration as well as rust. The top left mounting hole is broken. All other mounting holes are intact. This cluster is used. All gauges appear to be working properly but has NOT been tested. This cluster is marked below average price for these reasons. This cluster is in fair used condition as far as the aesthetics of this item. This item is sold as is. The seller does not accept returns or offer refunds. If I don't does not come with a manufacturer warranty or seller warranty. Make sure you please ask questions before purchasing this item.
