                        My guess is these are off the seller's car and he replaced them with NOS pieces that were in those boxes.

                          The 88-91 tails went from a dime a dozen in the junkyard to big money before I realized it. People eat those up in Facebook groups.

                            As a nos ebay prowler for years now, I have to say its slim pickings. Dont think its gonna change unless some mass undiscovered parts warehouse is found. I bought a 79 marquis taillight lens for $18 about a year and a half ago....they now sell for well over $100, if you can find them. I think we have reached that point.

                              Got a "mini-warehouse" load of OEM parts including tripminders. Try to find those on EBAY!

                                I think all of us who spent time in junkyards over the last 10-15 years can name items that have seen the same price jumps.
