Sold for a little over $1000. I think some with some TLC, it could be a good car.

The fender will fit but I don't know if it will work with your fender vent things.

Yeah I was thinking that, but a section could be cut for the louvers or afix them somehow.. My drivers side is crusty. Looks like it has the lamps on the side too, which I dont have , as well. Pretty tempting

Id say so. There are people buying them up when they are all dirty for near this price. This is a good buy in my opinion. Unfortunately nobody likes paying for peoples time. I had a lot of time in it and good work done. Sandblasted and powdercoated. Cant get any better. This was sold with a couple other items to the current seller. I think the price is fair for what you are getting. Its the only bolt on piece for box guys upgrading upper intake and throttle bodies.

Can you take a pic of the fender that was pulled off your car after you do the swap. I thought the vent areas on the 79's were inlaid BUT I never seen a NOS fender have those inlaid areas to accept those fender vents.

Sure, it may be after next winter though. Here are the pics, from what I can tell, there is a recess in which the louvers afix. I think I could carefully cut out the same type of thing....last option would be to use some type of adhesive or whatever...Looks like the other fender will have to be cut/ moded to accept a side marker light, or the new fender could have it filled in and deleted. As you can see, the current fender is eaten , hence the purchase:

I have the fender lights and the relays to make them work. I know most years the car is already wired for the lights, but I'm not sure if the early ones like yours is. WagonMan
