I was looking at brake parts on RockAuto and stumbled upon a current rebate which applies in the shopping cart (no mail-in component):
"Simply add any qualifying Power Stop or AutoSpecialty Brake part to your cart and instantly save 10%!"
This expires on Dec 31 of this year.
Power Stop is the brand of pads I used on the wagon for my Tail of the Dragon trip, and I was quite pleased with them. I went with the Z23 Evolution Sport which is a ceramic-carbon fiber pad. Keep in mind that car uses 95-97 brake parts. Paired with a different brand (R1 Concepts) of performance rotor and a performance brake fluid, I found the car brakes heavily and repeatedly, consistently.
I'm building a cart with some of their items now (a 95-97 rotor+pad combo kit, a set of 10" drum shoes, and a set of the Z23 pads for the stock box brakes) and noticed that the shipping calculator seems to be broken in a good way. I keep adding things to the cart but the rate stays the same as long as it's Power Stop stuff.
Happy shopping!
